Service provider: PayPal

PayPal is a multinational financial technology company operating an online payments system in the majority of countries that supports online money transfers and serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. The company operates as a payment processor for online vendors, auction sites, and many other commercial users, for which it charges a fee.

Frequently asked questions

Any entity operating a solution that enables the delivery of a service (payments, loyalty, etc.) at POS can become a VAS Cloud Service Provider by entering into a commercial agreement with SHC Group.

The Service Provider can get access to all POS devices connected to the VAS Cloud.

Integration of the service is necessary to get access. SHC Group and the service provider will assess the requirements, interfaces, and possible workflows on the POS devices and develop an estimation. This will be the basis for an integration offer to the Service Provider.

The pricing model for the Service provider is very simple. There is a one-time integration fee to be paid to SHC Group. There are no additional costs for operation.

The Service Provider may contract with all VAS Cloud partners and/or merchants to use the Service in their connected POS devices. SHC Group will not charge the Service Provider any commission for this.

VAS Cloud Service Providers sign contracts with SHC Group.

Depending on the type of Service, the Service Provider must sign a contract with either the VAS Cloud Partner(s) or the Merchant(s).

  • Enter into a VAS Cloud commercial agreement with SHC Group
  • Conduct technical discussions to assess with SHC Group specialists the scope of work: development requirements to integrate the Service into the VAS Cloud platform, technical connections, processes, etc.
  • Provide the necessary information and support for the integration and establishment of technical connections
